The Phantom (1936) (First Appearance)

The Phantom! I was a huge fan when I was a kid; it was the only non-comical/satirical comic strip in our local newspaper (El Tiempo), and it was published for several decades. I liked to collect (with my family's help) the full-page version that appeared on Sundays, because it was the closest to have a real comic book back then.... I´m still have that album storedsomewhere, with a custom made cover that I made being 8-10 years old!

He appeared in the Defenders of the Earth show too, along Mandrake, and I was a big fan of that show too. Years later I watched the Phantom 2040 tv show and I remember it as something kind of weird, but pretty good.

Here I used some muted colors for the costume, because it has to work as comuflage isn't? The diagonal black stripes in the early adventures where a lot thinner compared with the more known version that hasn't changed in years as the rest of the costume, with really small variations on the belt and the mask.
